Kevin has over 30 years experiance in electrical installations and over the years has undertaken a number of successful
projects. For the first 12 years Kevin was the Director and qualifying manager of his busy family business, (Emery Electrical Co. Ltd.) responsible for upto 20 employees and managing all aspects
including the estimating and design on projects worth upto £120,000. During this time Kevin programmed various large buliding control systems for football stadiums, museums and art galleries aswell
as municipal buildings and car parks, working closely with the local councils for optimum energy management and conservation. After this he spent 3 years working independantly for Virgin media on
specialist projects, installing communication equipment and power supplies aswell as designing and wiring two factories for the manufacture of communication equipment. He has also installed bespoke
security systems throughout his career.
Currently a Director of Semteck ltd. Kevin has completed contracts for various
large agricultaral and industrial business buildings, installed more bespoke
security and access control systems and is expanding the business into solar
installations, soon Semteck will be MCS accredited. Kevin holds the current
qualificaions:

inspect & test, maintenance.

Simon Parr
Simon has nearly 20 years experiance in electrical
installations, starting work at Lumonics, he trained as an electrical engineer
and also learnt multiple skills in different aspects of engineering, moving from
here to City Electrical Factors, Simon was involved in the procurement and
logistics of a busy electrical wholesaler. Simon was then employed by Emery
Electrical Co. Ltd. for seven years, where he worked as the Electrical
Technician and Qualifying Manager aswell as taking responsibility for
Installation Design using Amtech Pro and Luckins. During this time he was
responsible for the supervision of sites and upto 20 engineers gaining much
experiance in industrial and agricultural projects. He then went on to work
independantly on large commercial distribution and back up generation projects aswell as taking a contract for the rewiring and electrical maintenance of a large four star hotel, installing
specialist lighting in the bar and function areas. He has also undertaken a large number of bespoke kitchen and bathroom lighting projects for a top end kithen fitter. Forming a partnership with
Kevin a few years ago Simon is now a Director of Semteck completing contracts for various large agricultural and business buildings, bespoke security and access control systems and is expanding the
business into solar installations and will soon be MCS accreddited. Simon holds the current qualifications:
- B-tec National Diploma in the following: Technical Drawing, Bench fitting, Sheet metal work, Milling, Turning and Surface grinding.
